If I knew you better I'd be that "friend" tough I was never one to believe the grass is green but seriously I'm lucky to have any grass in my life at all right now. While I was reading your post this quote popped into my head:
Andy Warhol wrote, “Either once only, or every day. If you do something once it’s exciting, and if you do it every day it’s exciting. But if you do it, say, twice or just almost every day, it’s not good any more.”

This is excellent advice. I think I've given a variation of it myself, but I don't think I want to water this lawn. In fact, I hope it dies soon.

Such a great post! I always love how you put translate life into semi-snarky in-your-face context.

I was afraid you were being entirely serious and almost got annoyed at - "“take the week off” to allow for growth? Well, there’s a trend for this too—just become an atheist for a while." until I hit the chart and realized you are being (I suspect mostly but not entirely) tongue in cheek.

You do raise an interesting point though about the flip-flop nature of those who are very "pick and choose" with their religion and, indirectly, the religion as social identifier/status symbol brigade.

I'm going to share this on UFJ and see what they think :)
