Instead of resolutions I have decided to do a different kind of list, an idea I stole from my friend Kel at Not So Small Things. This list is a reasonable one and one that I hope to complete before I turn 37 in May of 2011.
- Walk 30 minutes a day 4-5 times a week
- Take a Yoga Class
- Lose 37 pounds
- Repaint the main areas of the house
- Finish the pajama pants I started before Christmas for the kids
- Make the window treatment for my Teen’s room and put up her wall art
- Repaint the boys room and paint a mural on their wall.
- Read 5 fiction books
- Build a piece of furniture on my own
Make Thai food from scratch- Sew and design three spring outfits each for the little girls
Perfect bread making- Write daily
- Make the pillows for the sofa
Start an above bed garden in the back yardPlay more games with friends and with the kidsDo more outside activities with Mr. K, like hiking
I hope everyone has had a great start to the New Year. Did you make any resolutions?

Yay, I love love this!! And they are all totally doable, which is what makes them all so awesome.
Good luck, my sweet friend.
Whew! I can’t wait to read about your progress. I don’t do resolutions, mainly because I’d forget like 5 minutes later, but I do have a 101 in 1001 that I’m trying to keep on top of.
Wow that is impressive. With that list my first resolutions would be to hire a gardener, nanny, seamstress, painter and a cook. Then see where that leaves me with the rest of the list.
An impressive list. But really, if you are hugging your kids and enjoying sex, I say the rest can wait. Before 37? Sugar you are a baby!
